MEET THE IGLOOTEL - If such thing as a boutique igloo hotel existed, the IGLOOTEL would certainly be a leader in its category! Embedded, state-of-the-art lighting and sculptural elements crafted of snow and ice lend the facility its upscale character. The few elements not made of ice or snow incorporate natural materials such as locally sourced wood or reindeer skins.

PREPARATION IS PART OF THE FUN - No great fan of the cold? There are many ways to brace oneself prior to bedding down for the night. A long soak in a hot tub, followed by a session in the sauna, relax and warm the body’s core temperature. A comfortable, heated facility directly attached to the IGLOOTEL gives you the chance to change clothes and complete your nightly routines in warmth and comfort. Relaxed and toasty, sleeping bag in hand, you’ll make your way to your icy chamber.

MORE TO DO THAN SLEEP - There’s plenty to do before turning in. Enjoy a warming herbal tea or chill out with a cocktail served in a glass made of ice. The creatively illuminated Ice Bar offers ample space for dancing or socializing with friends old and new. Gather round a roaring fire within the igloo’s snowy walls, the Arctic sky and stars high above you. With a bit of luck, you’ll catch a glimpse of those elusive Northern Lights.

ROOM SIZES TO SUIT ALL - Alone or as a pair, in the company of good friends, or with the entire family in tow, our rooms are designed to suit groups of any size. Guests can choose between an option which comfortably houses one or two, or opt for larger accommodation capable of housing up to six individuals at a time.

HOW TO REACH US - The resort Pite Havsbad, right at the gates of the holiday desination Piteå and next to the Gulf of Bothnia, is well linked to the outside world. The town of Arvidsjaur, just 1,5 hours of transfer time away, is home to an airport served by direct flights from Germany. Ex Munich, Stuttgart, Hanover and Frankfurt-Hahn guests can reach the winterwonderland of Swedish Lapland within approx. 3 hours up to 3 times per week in high season.
